Tamez Tabbed to Lead Productions

HOUSTON – Blaine Tamez was hired as Assistant Athletics Director for Productions in September following three seasons as the Director of Video Production at Tarleton State.
At Tarleton State, Tamez produced and directed all Texans broadcasts on ESPN+ while also preparing graphics packages for the broadcasts, writing broadcast scrips, training and developing student interns and managing equipment necessary for broadcasts.
Prior to working at Tarleton State, Tamez worked with L2 Productions out of Austin, Texas, including Big 12 Golf Championships, American Athletic Conference Track and Field events, college baseball and basketball events and Major League Rugby. Tamez has also worked with Texas Athletics directing softball for SEC+.
Tamez earned his bachelors degree from Texas State. He is from Brenham, Texas.
