Built By Houston: Championship Week Events Unveiled

Two events, Cougar Pride Giving Day cap off Built By Houston celebration
HOUSTON – As the Cougars' Built By Houston celebration continues, the events within the final week of the campaign, named Championship Week, have been revealed with a Houston Cougar Sports Properties Partnership Summit, presented by LLH, an NIL Summit and Cougar Pride Giving Day.
The Monday of Championship Week, June 22, Houston, in partnership with Houston Cougar Sports Properties (HCSP) will host a Partnerships Summit presented by LLH. The Partnership Summit, the first-ever held by the University of Houston, which will look similar to an industry conference, will include programming around college landscape/CSC, Athletics updates, center piece assets (jersey, court, naming/entitlement opportunities), importance of ticket utilization, new digital offerings, and unique opportunities that HCSP can provide.
The following day, June 23, the Cougars will host an NIL Summit in conjunction with LinkU to help support student-athletes by exposing the Houston brand to new businesses. More information will be released closer to the event.
On Thursday June 25, Houston will host its Cougar Pride Giving Day with proceeds going to benefit three areas of emphasis, Suited for Success, Football's Pledge Per Campaign and the Cougar Pride Annual Fund.
Houston's Suited for Success initiative on Giving Day will help benefit graduating student-athletes get a suit or professional outfit so each graduating student-athlete is prepared for job interviews, networking opportunities, career fairs, or other professional experiences following graduation.
For the second year in a row, Football will host a Pledge Per campaign with supporters pledging a certain amount of money per event that happens during the 2026 Cougar Football season including but not limited to, touchdowns, field goals, turnovers, and wins.
The NIL Summit and Houston Cougar Sports Properties Partnership Summit are invite only events.
