Three Women’s Golfers Named to All-Big 12 Conference Team

Senior Moa Svedenskiöld named to First Team; Senior Natalie Saint Germain & junior Maelynn Kim earn places on Second Team
HOUSTON – Three University of Houston Women's Golfers received postseason recognition when they were named to the All-Big 12 Conference Team on Friday.Senior Moa Svedenskiöld was named to the league's First Team while senior Natalie Saint Germain and junior Maelynn Kim earned places on the Second Team.
It was the first All-Conference honors for Saint Germain and Kim while Svedenskiöld was named to her third postseason conference squad.
All three Cougars helped lead Houston to a second-place team finish at the Big 12 Championship presented by Allstate at Dallas Athletic Club in Dallas last week and earned places on the league's All-Tournament Team with their Top-10 finishes.
ABOUT MOA SVEDENSKIÖLD
This season, Svedenskiöld leads the Cougars with a 71.93 scoring average and five Top-10 finishes. The Halmstad, Sweden, native five Top-10 showings in her last seven tournaments to close the season, including back-to-back sixth-place finishes at the Landfall Tradition (October 24-26, 2025) and the Collegiate Individual at Guadalajara Country Club (January 30-31).
She was previously named to the 2023-24 All-Big 12 Conference Team and the 2022-23 All-American Athletic Conference Team and joined Saint Germain on the 2024 Big 12 All-Tournament Team.
She holds the school record with a 71.87 career scoring average and owns the Top-Three single-season marks in that category.

ABOUT NATALIE SAINT GERMAIN
Saint Germain stands second among the Cougars with a 72.52 scoring average and 15 rounds of par or lower.
She fired three straight rounds in the 60s to earn medalist honors at the Jim West Challenge at Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos, Texas (October 19-20, 2025) for the first title of her collegiate career.
The Prague native has posted back-to-back Top-10 finishes in her last two starts at the Big 12 Championship (April 23-25) and the Huntington Bank Collegiate (April 6-7) entering the NCAA Simpsonville Regional.
With her team-best fifth-place finish at the Big 12 Championship last week, Saint Germain was named to the league's All-Tournament Team for the second straight season.
This marked the first All-Big 12 honor for Saint Germain.
She stands third in Houston career history with a 72.94 scoring average and is tied for fourth with 11 Top-10 finishes. As a freshman during the 2022-23 season, she set a school record with a 64 in the Final Round of the Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club (September 26, 2022).

ABOUT MAELYNN KIM
Kim ranks third among the Cougars with a 72.58 average but leads the squad with 16 rounds of par or lower.
She paces the team with three Top-Five finishes in 2025-26, including a second-place showing at the Collegiate Individual at Guadalajara Country Club in the spring opener (January 30-31). The Houston native and Seven Lakes High school product has recorded five sub-par rounds in her last six rounds entering the NCAA postseason.
This was the first All-Big 12 honor for Kim, who ranks fourth in school history with a 72.94 career average.

The Cougars were selected as the No. 5 seed for the NCAA Simpsonville Regional to be played at Louisville Golf Club in Kentucky on May 11-13.
Houston will face No. 1 seed Arkansas, No. 2 Auburn, No. 3 Iowa State, No. 4 Mississippi, No. 6 Virginia Tech, No. 7 Kansas State, No. 8 Indiana, No. 9 Charleston, No. 10 Xavier, No. 11 WKU and No. 12 Murray State.
The Top-Five teams from each NCAA Regional advance to play at the NCAA Championships, set for May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.

In its most recent action, Houston opened the Big 12 Championship presented by Allstate with back-to-back sub-par rounds and earned a season-best second-place team finish with a three-day, 54-hole score of 865.
