2026 Big 12 Soccer Schedule Announced

Cougars set for 11 league matches, including five matches at Carl Lewis International Complex
HOUSTON – The Big 12 Conference and the University of Houston Soccer team announced the 2026 conference schedule Monday.
Houston will compete in 11 conference matches this fall, hosting five opponents at the Carl Lewis International Complex and traveling for the remaining six.
The Cougars open conference action in Manhattan, Kan. facing Kansas State on Sept. 18, before returning home for a three-game homestand against Iowa State (Sept. 24), Oklahoma State (Sept. 27) and West Virginia (Oct. 2).
Houston hits the road for a three-match stretch with matches at Arizona (Oct. 8), Arizona State (Oct. 11) and Cincinnati (Oct. 16).
The Cougars play host to reigning Big 12 Champion and National Semifinalist TCU on Oct. 22 before traveling to UCF on Oct. 25.
Houston will close Big 12 play with its final home match against Kansas on Oct. 30 before wrapping the regular season in Waco, Texas against Baylor on Nov. 5.
The top eight teams in the conference qualify for the Big 12 Soccer Tournament from Nov. 9-14, with a location to be announced.
Houston's non-conference schedule as well as times and ticket information will be available soon.
The Cougars enter year two under the direction of Head Coach Ben Williams as they went undefeated and allowed just one goal during nonconference play for the first time in program history while recording the most points and goals scored in league play since joining the conference in 2023.
Houston returns 12 players that saw action in 2025 including Big 12 All-Freshman and Second Team selection Samira Minor.
Of the 12 players returning, 11 of them scored a goal last season including Minor who led the team with six.
The Cougars welcome back three players who redshirted due to injury as well as seven transfers and seven freshmen who will join the squad in the fall.
