Senior posts Final-Round 71 for score of even-par 280; Cougars finish fourth as a team

Glawe drained four birdies in Thursday's Final Round on the 7,556-yard, par-70 course and finished the 54-hole tournament with a total of even-par 280.
With his Top-10 finish, Glawe earned a place on the Championships' All-Tournament Team, the first of his career.
As a team, the Cougars – who were seeded No. 8 entering the event – lowered their score for the third straight round with a Final-Round 283 for a total of 1,149 and finished fourth.
Glawe overcame a slow start that saw him at 3-over through 10 holes. Fortunately, the St. Leon-Rot, Germany, native birdied three of his next five holes, including back-to-back efforts at Nos. 14-15, for a career-best finish at a conference postseason event and his second Top-20 showing at those tournaments.
Sophomore Chi Chun Chen joined Glawe among the Top-20 individual leaders with a score of 288 to tie for 17th. Senior Laurenz Schiergen tied for 29th at 291 while senior Hudson Weibel tied for 53rd at 299. Sophomore Grant Doggett finished 65th with a score of 306.
#4 Oklahoma State won the team championship with a score of 1,118 to finish 11 shots ahead of #5 Arizona State. #33 Texas Tech came in third at 1,148 with TCU (1,154), #34 Colorado (1,156), #14 Utah (1,157), Kansas State (1,158), #28 BYU (1,166) and #42 Kansas (1,168) rounding out the Top 10.
Oklahoma State's Preston Stout won the individual championship with a score of 3-under 277 to finish two shots ahead of Arizona State's Connor Williams. Mjaaseth joined Glawe in third at 280 while Arizona State's Josele Ballester and Ethan Fang of Oklahoma State tied for fifth at 281.
