Three Cougars collect academic awards from College Sport Communicators
HOUSTON – Three members of the Houston Volleyball program were recognized for their academic success, collecting College Sport Communicators Academic All-District honors, the organization announced Tuesday.
Senior Lottie Scully received her second Academic All-District selection while both redshirt senior Barakat Rahmon and redshirt sophomore Alyssa Gonzales picked up their first.
Gonzales made a quick impact in her first year with the Cougars, starting in 22 matches and amassing 215 kills and 141 digs. She also notched 34 blocks with 10 aces during the season.
Rahmon capped an exceptional collegiate career in 2025.
