Men set to start at 8:30 a.m., women at 9:15 a.m. in College Station
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The University of Houston Cross Country squads will travel to College Station for its third meet of the season on Friday at the Watts Cross Country Course.
The men will open the meet with the 8k at 8:30 a.m., and the women will follow with the 5k at 9:15 a.m. Live results can be found here.
The Cougars are set to compete Texas A&M (host), Abilene Christian, Arkansas State, Baylor, Incarnate Word, Lamar, LeTourneau, Louisiana, LSU, McNeese, Mercer, Middle Tennessee, Nelson, New Mexico State, New Orleans, Nicholls State, North Dakota, North Texas, Ohio State, Oklahoma (women only), Oklahoma City, Our Lady of the Lake, Rice, Sam Houston, SMU (women only), Stephen F. Austin, Tarleton State, TCU, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Texas State, Texas Tech, Tulsa (women only), UT Arlington, UTRGV, UTEP, UTSA and Wake Forest (women only).
LAST TIME OUT
Both the men's and women's squads finished fourth at the Texas A&M Invitational on Sep. 13.
Redshirt freshman Addison Hite led the way, finishing in 15th place with sophomore Cadence Patterson following in 16th place.
On the men's side, freshman Zac Miller went on to lead the Cougars, finishing in sixth while junior Patrick Flowers posted a personal best time of 24:43.2 for 24th place.
