Following the completion of 54 holes over three rounds at the Regional, the low six teams and the low three individuals not on those teams at each NCAA Regional site advance to the NCAA Championships on May 20-25, hosted at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Oregon.
With their 10-stroke victory at the American Athletic Conference Championships on April 19, the Cougars clinched their second straight appearance in NCAA Regional play in only the second year of team competition under Head Coach Gerrod Chadwell.
Houston also captured its first conference championship in program history and the third American title for all Houston Athletics sport programs in 2015-16.
FIRST-ROUND PAIRINGS
Chadwell and assistant coach Lucy Nunn will use the same lineup for the fifth consecutive tournament with Kajiki, senior Raegan Bremer, freshman Leonie Harm, sophomore Megan Thothong and junior Emily Gilbreth.
For Thursday's First Round, the Cougars will compete off No. 1 in threesomes with student-athletes from East Carolina and NC State. Bremer begins the day at 7:30 a.m. with Kajiki (7:39 a.m.), Gilbreth (7:48 a.m.), Harm (7:57 a.m.) and Thothong (8:06 a.m.) following.
ABOUT THE COUGARS
Bremer ranks third on the team with a 74.70 scoring average and seven rounds of par or better. The Anaheim Hills Calif., native has posted six top-20 finishes in 10 tournaments to date and enjoyed a season-best sixth-place finish at the UCF Challenge on Feb. 9 to open the spring season.
She was recently named to the All-American Athletic Conference Team for the third straight, becoming only the third player in league history to be so honored.
Harm joined the Cougars at the semester break out of Redlands Community College and has made an immediate impact. The Gerlingen, Germany, native has posted a pair of top-20 finishes in only four events this season, including a career-best ninth-place showing at The American Championships on April 19.
Gilbreth has been a steady presence in the Cougars' lineup throughout the 2015-16 season. The Bellaire High product has enjoyed five top-20 finishes this year and captured the first collegiate title of her career at the UNF Collegiate on March 8, sharing the championship with Thothong.
In only two years with the Cougars, Kajiki has been a consistent leader. With her fifth-place finish at The American Championships last week, she became the first player in school history with multiple top-5 showings at the league's postseason tournament.
For her impressive efforts, she was named to the All-American Athletic Conference Team for the second straight season, becoming only the seventh player in league history with multiple selections.
Thothong joined Bremer and Kajiki on the All-Conference Team for the first time in her career. This season, the Dallas native leads the Cougars with a 74.30 scoring average and is tied with Kajiki for the team lead with nine round of par or better.
She successfully defended her individual title at the UNF Collegiate on March 8, becoming the first Cougar in school history with multiple individual championships.

NCAA REGIONALS HISTORY
This marks the second straight season in which the Cougars will compete in the NCAA Regionals. Houston has competed in the NCAA postseason every season in which it was eligible for team competition after starting the program with four individuals in 2013-14.
A year ago, the Cougars played as the No. 12 seed at the NCAA San Antonio Regional, finishing 13th with a score of 881.
Bremer, Gilbreth, Kajiki and Thothong will be competing in the second NCAA Regionals of their collegiate careers, while Harm will make her NCAA postseason debut.
At the 2015 NCAA San Antonio Regional, Gilbreth led the team individually with a score of 218 and tied with Thothong for the team's low round of the tournament with a 71 in the Second Round.
PLAYING at the UNIVERSITY CLUB
This will be the second time that Houston has competed in Baton Rouge this season. The Cougars finished seventh at the LSU Tiger Classic on March 20-22 22 with Bremer and Harm earning top-20 finishes.
The Cougars are one of five teams in the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional who previously played at the University Club in 2015-16. Houston joins Duke, NC State, Denver and host LSU.
In addition, Houston is one of 12 teams in the NCAA Regional field who have previous experience at their Regional site this season. In addition to Duke, NC State, Denver and LSU at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional, both Texas and Texas A&M faced one another in match-play on Sept. 6, 2015, at Traditions Club in Baton Rouge, La.
Stanford, Colorado, San Jose State, USC and Pepperdine also played at the Stanford Golf Course at various times earlier this season.
