Houston Volleyball Sweeps Jackson State in Three

LAKE CHARLES, La. - The University of Houston Volleyball program swept Jackson State (25-21, 25-17, 25-22) after falling to UT Arlington on day one of the Big Daddy's Invitational hosted by McNeese State.
The Cougars now sit 3-2 on the season.
Redshirt junior Kadi Kullerkann picked up 17 kills against the UTA Mavericks and recorded 13 kills against Jackson State. Senior libero Natalie Keck had a 24-dig match against UT Arlington.
Senior right side Cortney Warren hit .500 against Jackson State (11 kills) with two digs and a block to lead the Cougars to a three set win over the Tigers. Freshman Bryanna Lawrence registered 11 kills in each match this afternoon and was one dig shy of picking up her second double-double of the season.
UP NEXT
The Cougars return to the court tomorrow afternoon as they face host team McNeese State at 1:15 p.m. for the final match of the tournament.
