After a busy summer, Robledo struggled at the beginning of the fall season but has come on strong down the stretch. The Harlingen, Texas, native finished second, thanks to a Second-Round 67, at the Miramont Invitational and helped lead the Cougars to the first team championship of the season.
He followed that with consecutive sub-par rounds over the last 36 holes, including a Final-Round 69, at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate to finish second and lead Houston to a fourth-place team finish.
On Friday, Robledo tied for third with 28 strokes over nine holes in the PING Putting Contest. UCLA's Jonathan Garrick won the event with 25 putts.
A year ago, Robledo posted an impressive 71.24 average with eight top-10 individual finishes on the way to being named a PING All-America Second-Team selection. He won three straight tournaments to open the spring campaign and tied for 19th at the NCAA Championships with a 1-under-par 209 at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
Robledo will be joined by David Boote (Stanford), Lorens Chan (UCLA), Trevor Cone (Virginia Tech), Bryson Dechambeau (SMU), Grant Forrest (San Diego), Jonathan Garrick (UCLA), Gavin Green (New Mexico), Rico Hoey (USC), Bobby Holden (Redlands), Kyle Jones (Baylor), Chase Koepka (USF), Jordan Niebrugge (Oklahoma State), J.T.
