Adom left the Houston volleyball team before the start of the 2006 season.
2005 Season (Freshman)
Adom saw a majority of her action at middle blocker, but also took some swings on the outside ... fourth on the team smacking 160 kills on 378 total attacks ... second on squad connecting on a .248 attack percentage ... Houston was 10-4 when Adom attacked at better than a .200 clip ... force on defense and third on the squad with 79 total blocks ... one of three freshman to start in the season opener against Wichita State (Aug. 26) ... knocked nine kills on 21 attempts against Stephen F. Austin (Aug. 27) ... matched her career-high nine kills on a career-best 28 swings and also blocked six shots against Miami (Sept. 3) ... registered a career-high eight blocks at College of Charleston (Sept. 17) ... powered home eight kills on a .375 attack percentage to go along with a season-best five digs against Tulane (Oct. 2) ... totaled nine kills and four blocks against Marshall (Oct. 21) ...nailed a career-high 12 kills on a .421 attack percentage at SMU (Nov. 6) ... ripped 10 kills and picked up five blocks at Rice (Nov. 10) ... opened C-USA Tournament racking up 11 kills on a season-best .667 attack percentage against SMU (Nov. 18) ... connected on six of 10 swings in the C-USA Semifinals against Tulane (Nov. 19).
2004 Season
Redshirted the 2004 season.
High School
Was named Blocker of the Year and was an All-State and All-District performer at Euless Trinity High School ... also ran track at Trinity, placing second in the state in the triple jump ... All-Region and district Most Valuable Player in basketball.

Daughter of Prince Adom and Mary Kanbi ... born October 19, 1985 ... nickname is 'Z' ... majoring in kinesiology ... also recruited by Baylor, TCU, Missouri and Stephen F. Austin ... chose to attend Houston because of the great environment and welcoming people.
