Saw action in 34 matches, including 19 starts ... one of 11 players to earn a spot on the C-USA All-Academic Team ... one of six Cougars with more than 200 digs ... recorded double-digit digs on nine occasions ... smacked 124 kills at a 1.24 per game rate ... powered home a season-best 10 kills on a .391 attack percentage at Stephen F. 2005 Season (Junior)
After missing the first three matches of the season, Martin saw action in 23 of 27 matches ... one of six Cougars to register more than 25 total blocks ... made her Cougar debut passing out a season-high five assists against Ole Miss (Sept. 2) ... totaled a season-best four blocks against Miami (Sept. 3) ... powered home six kills on eight attempts without an attack error for a season-high .625 hitting percentage against South Carolina (Sept. 16) ... had a stretch at the beginning of Conference USA play picking up double-digit digs in four of five matches (Oct. 2 - 16) ... knocked a season-best eight kills on 14 attempts at Southern Miss (Oct. 14) ... tallied a season-high 14 digs and added three blocks at UCF (Oct. 16) ... equaled her career-best with eight kills on a career-high 29 swings against Tulane (Oct. 28).
Before Houston
Saw action in 65 games as a freshman and 78 as a sophomore at Charlotte, a former C-USA rival ... posted a career-high 12 kills against Seton Hall in 2004 and had a season-high 14 digs against North Carolina also in 2004 ... in 2003 she had eight kills versus Cincinnati, seven kills against Jacksonville ... posted 20 digs against the Dolphins, a career-high ... finished in double figures for digs three times, those three matches were in a four-match span ... also had 14 digs versus Cincinnati and 11 digs at DePaul.
