Set six PR's at the Pearland Invitational, in the 50-yard freestyle (24.22), the 100-yard freestyle (51.83), the 200-yard freestyle (1:52.26), the 500-yard freestyle (5:00.18), the 100-yard backstroke (59.80) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:08.15)... Also set a PR at the UIW dual meet in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:37.07).
Competed in three freestyle events during the inaugural American Athletic Conference Championships, swimming personal bests in the 200-yard freestyle (1:52.73) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:12.27).
Team captain... Named First Team All-State... Holds the school record in the 200 free, 500 free, 200 free relay and 400 free relay... State finalist all four years.
