Three consecutive seasons ranked Top-50 in the Netherlands for 50m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly. 2021 - Placed Top-20 at Dutch Open Nationals.
PERSONAL: Full name is Athina Wilhelmina Economon... Name is pronounced E-Con-Uh-Mon... Born in Geneva, Switzerland... Majoring in Economics… Daughter of Hanneke Faber and Aristotle Economon, who each received bachelor’s degrees at UH... Mother was an All-America diver at UH from 1987 to 1991 and also received her MBA from UH... Older brother, Ari, is a UH graduate, who received his degree in Honors electrical engineering... Older sister, Anna, is a member of the Houston Women’s Golf program... International School of Amsterdam 2022 Valedictorian…. Editor-in-chief of the school newspaper… President of Amsterdam Amnesty International Branch.
