Fans Invited to Join Men’s Basketball Team at Coogs Selection Sunday Fan Fest and Watch Party

HOUSTON – University of Houston Men's Basketball fans are invited to join the Head Coach Kelvin Sampson and the Cougars for a fun-filled day inside Fertitta Center ahead of the Coogs Selection Sunday Fan Fest presented by TDECU & Watch Party presented by BB's Tex-Orleans.
Sunday's event is a collaboration with Linking Coogs with all proceeds raised supporting the Men's Basketball student-athletes' NIL.
The party begins at 3 p.m., Sunday, inside Fertitta Center. The Coogs Selection Sunday Fan Fest & Watch Party will be the only place where fans can enjoy first step of the NCAA Tournament with Head Coach Kelvin Sampson and the 2025-26 Cougars.
Prior to the Watch Party, fans can enjoy a variety of fun games and activities during the Fan Fest sponsored by TDECU. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Houston student-athletes and get autographs during Meet and Greets.
Fans can compete in the Coogs Shooting Challenge on the Fertitta Center court, take fun photos with life-size Houston edition SLAMU covers and take photos with each student-athlete's life size cutout at selfie stations across the concourse.
Families with children under 12 years old will enjoy the Kids Zone featuring inflatables, PlayStation consoles and tailgate games.
All Team Shop locations in Fertitta Center will be open for fans to purchase their favorite merchandise.
Following Fan Fest, Sampson and the Cougars will watch the NCAA Tournament Selection Show from the Fertitta Center floor beginning at 5 p.m., Sunday.
TICKET PACKAGES
Fans can purchase Coogs Selection Sunday Fan Fest & Watch Party tickets by visiting UHCougars.com/selection or by clicking here.
General Admission tickets are available for $15 with children 12 years and younger receiving free admission with the purchase of a paid Adult ticket.
Tickets for current UH students are free and sponsored by BB's Tex-Orleans. In addition, current UH students may take part in the Student Raffle sponsored by BB's Tex-Orleans during the pre-show activities.
For $150, fans can purchase Sideline Club tickets with access to the BB's Tex-Orleans catering and cash bar. This package includes an appearance from the Houston Men's Basketball staff and select student-athletes, an opportunity to meet student-athletes on the court and a free One Piece card giveaway upon exiting Fertitta Center.
Fans also can purchase Floor Level VIP seats for $500. This package includes a floor seat during the NCAA Tournament Selection Show, access to BB's Tex-Orleans catering and open bar, a signed Houston Men's Basketball poster, an appearance by Sampson, the coaching staff and student-athletes and a free One Piece card giveaway upon exiting Fertitta Center.
Tickets are limited for the Sideline Club and Floor Level VIP packages, and fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early to guarantee their seats.
PARKING
FREE parking provided by UH Parking and Transportation Services will be available in the Stadium Garage off Holman Street, across from the Fertitta Center.
ABOUT the COUGARS
Under Head Coach Kelvin Sampson's leadership, the #5/5 Cougars have posted a 26-5 overall record and second in the Big 12 Conference with a 14-4 mark, the program's ninth straight Top-Two conference showing. Houston has been ranked in the Top 10 of both national polls all season and for the last 123 weeks overall in the Associated Press poll, a school record.
The Cougars have posted a 15-1 record inside Fertitta Center in 2025-26 with wins in 53 of their last 55 home games.
Freshman point guard Kingston Flemings leads the Cougars with 16.5 points, 5.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game. The San Antonio, Texas, native has already set the school's freshman single-season scoring record with 510 points and set the single-game scoring mark with 42 points at #12/12 Texas Tech on January 24, the third highest scoring total in a road game by any Cougar of any class.
Senior guard Emanuel Sharp stands second on the team with 15.8 points per game and became the school's career 3-point field goal leader after draining a career-high eight treys in a road win at Utah on February 10. The Tampa, Fla., native is poised to rank among the Cougars' Top-10 career leaders wins, points, 3-point field goals, 3-point field goal attempts and victories inside Fertitta Center.
Freshman center/forward Chris Cenac Jr. leads the Cougars with 7.4 rebounds per game and has recorded a team-high 11 games with double-digit rebounds during is inaugural collegiate season. Cenac is poised to become the program's first freshman rebounding leader since forward TaShawn Thomas during the 2011-12 season.
Senior point guard Milos Uzan ranks among the Big 12 Top-Five leaders with a 3.18 assist-turnover ratio and has posted 18 games with one or fewer turnovers. The Las Vegas native recently tied his career high with 26 points in the Cougars' big home win over Colorado inside Fertitta Center on February 28.
Junior forward Joseph Tugler, who is a National Defensive Player of the Year candidate, leads Houston with 1.5 blocks per game and stands second on the team with 1.3 steals per contest.
For his and his team's impressive accomplishments this season and throughout his career, Sampson was named a finalist for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in early February. The Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be announced during NCAA Final Four Weekend in Indianapolis on April 4-6.
