PREVIEW: Divers Travel to NCAA Zone D Championships

Trio of Cougars head to College Station
COLLEGE STATION – The University of Houston Diving team starts its postseason competition with the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships at Texas A&M this week inside the Rec Center Natatorium on campus.
Competition begins on Monday with the 1-meter, followed by the 3-meter on Tuesday and platform on Wednesday. The top 18 divers in prelims will advance to the finals later in the day.

NCAA CUTS
Junior Michelle McLeod and sophomore Caroline Roelen earned cuts in all three events with freshman Maisy Woloszyn securing cuts on the 1-meter and 3-meter.
BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP
Woloszyn earned Big 12 Freshman Diver of the Meet after her win in the 3-meter brought home the first Big 12 Conference individual title in program history.
McLeod was recognized as the Big 12 Diver of the Meet after she collected another win for the Cougars in the platform diving competition.
The trio of divers brought home third overall in the team diving competition.
