Cougars tip off in Huntsman Center at 8 p.m. (CST) in first road game vs. Utes
SALT LAKE CITY – The #3/3 University of Houston Men's Basketball program continues it Big 12 Conference road swing through the Beehive State when it faces Utah at 8 p.m. (CST) / 7 p.m. (MST) Tuesday, inside Jon M. Huntsman Center .
The Cougars (21-2, 9-1 Big 12) enter this Tuesday's contest following a 77-66 win at #16/14 BYU in Provo, Utah, on Saturday night in the first game of the trip. Freshman point guard Kingston Flemings totaled 19 points to lead or tie for the team scoring lead in his 14th game this season and tied for team-high honors with five assists, his 12th straight game with 5+ dimes.
Freshman center/forward Chris Cenac Jr. finished with 16 points and five rebounds while junior forward Joseph Tugler totaled 10 points and a game-high six rebounds at BYU.
For his impressive efforts, Flemings was named to the Big 12 Conference's Starting Five of the Week for the sixth time this season.
Houston rose to #3 in both national polls released Monday. This marked the second week during the 2025-26 season which the Cougars will compete as the #3 (AP) team.
