Cougars to compete as team in ninth NCAA Regional in program history starting Monday morning

This marks the ninth time in the 12-year history of the program that the Cougars will compete as a team in NCAA Regional play.
The Cougars will compete as the No. 5 seed at the NCAA Columbus Regional.
That is the highest Houston has been seeded at an NCAA Regional in the program's history. This year's seeding topped the previous high of No. 7 during the 2024 NCAA Auburn Regional, 2023 NCAA Pullman Regional and 2018 NCAA Austin Regional.
