
Women’s Golf Finishes Sixth at Florida State Match Up

Natalie Saint Germain, Alexa Saldana & Maelynn Kim among Top-25 individual leaders
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The University of Houston Women's Golf program concluded play at the Florida State Match Up, tying for sixth with a three-day score of 902 at Seminole Legacy Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.
The Cougars finished Sunday's play with a team total of 307 and joined Alabama in sixth place.
Junior Natalie Saint Germain tied for 11th with a score of 222 to lead the Cougars and earn her fourth Top-15 showing of the season.
Junior Alexa Saldana and sophomore Maelynn Kim tied for 23rd at 226 while junior Moa Svedenskiold and senior Hyeonji Kang tied for 37th at 231.
Host Florida State captured the team championship with a score of 842. Illinois finished second at 884 while Indiana (887), Kent State (895) and Missouri (901) rounded out the Top Five.
Florida State teammates Mirabel Ting, Kaylah Williams and Lottie Woad finished 1-2-3 in the individual standings with Ting's 16-under 200 earning medalist honors.
