Cougars meet rv/rv Kansas at 8 p.m., inside Fertitta Center; Senior Ceremony begins around 7:30 p.m.
HOUSTON – Winner of 21 of its last 22 games, the #4/4 University of Houston Men's Basketball program closes its 2024-25 home schedule as it plays host to Kansas at 8 p.m., Monday, inside Fertitta Center in a Big 12 Conference showdown.
Houston enters its Big Monday matchup following a 73-64 win over Cincinnati inside Fertitta Center on Saturday. The Cougars' 12th straight win over the Bearcats gave Houston the outright Big 12 regular-season title for the second consecutive season.
Graduate guard LJ Cryer led all players with 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting and became the 53rd member of Houston's career 1,000-Point Club with a pair of free throws late in the win. Sophomore guard Terrance Arceneaux added 10 points.
Monday's game will be the second of two regular-season meetings against Kansas this season. Houston took a thrilling 92-86 win in double overtime in Lawrence, Kan., on Jan. 25 in the first meeting.

SENIOR NIGHT CEREMONY
Prior to Monday's game, the Cougars will celebrate Senior Night in a special ceremony beginning at 7:30 p.m. Houston will recognize graduate forward J'Wan Roberts, graduate guard LJ Cryer, senior forward Ja'Vier Francis, senior guard Ramon Walker Jr., and graduate guard Mylik Wilson.
Over the last four years, Houston's 2025 Senior class has earned 122 victories with five conference championships and will compete in four NCAA Tournaments with previous Elite Eight and Sweet 16 appearances. In addition, all five members of the class have already received or will receive their bachelor's degrees this spring.
Fans who wish to watch the Senior Ceremony should plan to be in their seats at 7:30 p.m., Monday.
