McLeod Qualifies for NCAA Championships in 3-Meter

McLeod finishes 10th in 3-meter at NCAA Zones D Diving Championships
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Sophomore Michelle McLeod earned her ticket to the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships at the University of Iowa's Campus Recreation and Wellness Center on Monday.
McLeod placed 10th in the 3-meter at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships event to qualify for her second NCAA Championships. The Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada, native earned a combined score of 624.45 to claim 10th overall in the event. Starting with a score of 309.80 in prelims, McLeod added a score of 314.65 to move up two spots in the finals flight to earn the last Zone D qualification spot.
UP NEXT
The Houston Diving Team continues competition at the NCAA Zone D Championships on Tuesday with the 1-meter event. Prelims begin at noon with finals starting at 3 p.m.
