26 student-athletes will look to defend their individual conference titles in multiple events next week, including Zarena Brown, Monique Rae, Laura Laderoute and Katie Deininger. Houston became the second team in league history to sweep the relays at last season's conference championships as they head into the meet holding the best times this season of each relay event.
The Cougars enter the postseason receiving two votes in the latest College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Poll (CSCAA), closing out the season 6-1 in dual meets. This marks the second time in league history that the championships have been held in Houston since the 2017 season.
