Houston Women Improve to No. 4 in Region

Cougars receive highest regional ranking since 1997
After winning the Rice Invitational behind four top-10 finishes, the Houston Women's Cross Country team improves to No. 4 in the South Central Region, its highest ranking since the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association introduced the system in 1997.
FULL RANKINGS CAN BE FOUND HERE
The Cougars improved nine spots to No. 4 after last weekend and are the highest ranked team from The American in the South Central region. The Houston women are one of four Texas teams to be in the top-four behind Arkansas, Texas and Texas A&M.
UP NEXT
The Houston Cross Country team will return to action Sept. 28 when the team travels to McNeese for the Lake Charles Toyota Stampede.
