PREVIEW: Houston Visits Tulane, Hosts Memphis

HOUSTON -- The University of Houston Volleyball team will continue American Athletic Conference play visiting Tulane in a 7 p.m. match on Wednesday and hosting Memphis in a 1 p.m. tilt on Sunday.
The Cougars (5-20, 0-14 The American) enter Wednesday looking to snap a 16-match losing streak. Houston fell to both Yale and host Rice in the Rice Adidas Invite II to close out non-conference play and has since opened league play with an 0-14 record.

• The Cougars, who are 25-47 all-time in The American, lead Tulane 30-12 (98-55) in the all-time series and are 9-7 (Sets: 30-27) when visiting the Green Wave. Houston leads Memphis 25-14 (Sets: 86-58) all-time and is 12-5 (Sets: 41-19) when hosting the Tigers.
• The Cougars are familiar with both opponents having already played them earlier in league play. Houston fell 3-1 to Tulane on Oct. 19 and 3-0 at Memphis on Oct. 21.
