In an ongoing effort to enhance the fan experience, Houston Athletics will introduce the Basketball Season Ticket Membership Card to replace traditional paper tickets. Entering the arena, fans will have their cards scanned before proceeding to their seats.
Managing tickets throughout the season will also become much easier, as fans can forward tickets to friends or print tickets from home by logging onto their online accounts.

"With this new Season Ticket Membership Card, Houston will follow in the footsteps of a variety of professional sports organizations and will become one of the only NCAA Division I programs in the nation to use this new technology," Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Sales Brooke Smoley said. "Fans can keep these cards in their purses and wallets and never worry about leaving tickets behind again. We are committed to embracing the newest ticket standard to make our fans visits to Hofheinz Pavilion even easier."
Season ticket holders now will receive a Season Ticket Membership Card for each seat in their account. All tickets for all regular-season home games will be pre-loaded onto each Season Ticket Membership card.
Fans who have any questions about their new Season Ticket Membership Cards can call the Athletics Ticket Office from 10 a.m., to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or email seasontix@uh.edu. For more information, fans also can visit uhcougars.com/membership-card.
