HOUSTON - The University of Houston cross country teams concluded this weekend's action. The top-8 UH men and women distance runners finished second in a dual meet with defending Conference USA champions Tulsa on Saturday in Tulsa, Okla.
Missouri Southern Stampede UH cross county was set to compete in the Missouri Southern Stampede on Saturday, but the meet was cancelled due to lightning. To replace that meet, the teams traveled to Tulsa to compete in a dual match with the Golden Hurricane.
"Our team was excited to run against some great competition at Missouri Southern," said head coach Ryan Turner. "Unfortunately Mother Nature didn't cooperate.
