Tulane Defeats Cougar Volleyball Team 3-1

Cougars Fall To 18-6 Overall, 10-3 In C-USA Action
NEW ORLEANS, LA -- The University of Houston volleyball team was defeated by Conference USA rival Tulane by a score of three games to one Friday night on the road in New Orleans, Louisiana. With a 6-15, 15-13, 15-9, 15-9 loss the Cougars fell to 18-6 overall and 10-3 in C-USA action.
Tulane junior middle hitter Erin Dobyanski led all players with 26 kills and a .305 hitting percentage. Houston senior Bobbi Stewart paced the Cougars with 17 kills while senior Michelle Frazier recorded 15 kills, a .297 hitting percentage and three service aces. The Green Wave out-hit UH .232 to .137 in the match to improve to 15-11 on the year and 7-6 in conference.
The Cougars continue the road trip with a C-USA match at Southern Miss on Saturday, November 4. First serve with the Golden Eagles will be at 2:00 p.m. in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
