Tola Olushola joined the University of Houston in November 2020 as a Financial Aid Coordinator before joining Houston Athletics in May 2022 as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid.Â
Olushola is credentialed in all 16 Financial aid areas ans has served as a financial aid specialist, student financial counselor and program Coordinator 2 in his previous roles.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Olushola attended Bellevue University on a basketball scholarship where he played from 2011-16 serving as team captain from 2014-16. Olushola helped Bellevue win numerous conference titles and make multiple national tournament appearances.Â
Olushola earned his bachelor’s in business administration in 2015 and an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources in 2019.
He and his wife Karen have a daughter, Tegan and a son Jidenna.
