Leanne Pendergast

Leanne Prendergast is a second-year doctoral student at the Graduate College of Social Work. With a bachelor's degree in human Rights and Equity Studies and a master's in social work and Community and International Development, Leanne is passionate about mental health equity for women and members of underserved communities. Leanne has created a model which measures program impact on Racialized students to address mental health disorders among Racialized youth. She continues to an advocate for access to mental health services and quality programs for girls of Color living with mental health disorders.
