Izzie Vaccari joined the University of Houston Soccer program as an assistant coach in April 2025.
Vaccari rejoins Williams staff after spending the 2024 season at SFA where she led the goalkeepers to 13 shutouts which ranked seventh in the country. She helped guide the Lady Jacks to the Southland Conference regular season and tournament titles and a berth to the NCAA Tournament.Â
The Dublin, Ohio, native was a standout goalkeeper at Miami (OH) where she sits second in career saves and owns the program record in shutouts on her way to earning All-MAC Second Team honors as a senior.
In her final season with the Redhawks in 2022, Vaccari started all 20 matches while leading the team in minutes. She conceded just nine conference goals, and 14 overall which ranked her third in the MAC for the least number of goals allowed. She recorded 10 shutouts that season, breaking her previous record of six set her junior year and placed her third in Miami's record book.
During the 2021 season, Vaccari started all 18 games, recording a 1.17 goals against average with a 72.4 save percentage in 1618 minutes of play. She finished the season with 55 saves, posting six shutouts and averaging two saves a game.
In 2020, Vaccari played in all eight matches and finished the year with a 2.12 goals against average and 44 saves. During her sophomore season, she appeared in 17 of the Redhawks, recorded a 1.44 goals against average with an 82.6 save percentage (second in MAC), and allowed one goal or fewer in 11 of her 17 appearances.
