Assistant Director, Facilities and Event Management Operations

Hunter Patton joined the Houston Athletics Department in March 2026 as the Assistant Director of Facilities and Event Management Operations.

Prior to Houston, Patton served as the Graduate Assistant for Event Management at Northern Illinois (2024-25), Stadium Operations Manager at O'Fallon Hoots (2024), Event Management Intern at Notre Dame (2023) and Facilities Operations Assistant at Kansas (2021-23).

He has been a part of several conference and NCAA tournaments, including the Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship, ACC Men's Soccer Tournament, NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament, NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament, NAIA Men's Basketball Championship, and Women's National Invitation Tournament

Patton is a native of St. Charles, Mo., and earned his bachelor's degree in Sport Management from the Kansas in 2023. He received his master's degree in Sport Management from Northern Illinois in 2025.
