Crissy Butler joined the Houston Athletics Dominic & Ellen Ng Academic Center for Excellence as an Assistant Learning Specialist/Tutor Coordinator in 2023.
In this role she manages a caseload of 10–13 student-athletes developing and implementing individualized learning plans to support their academic success while ensuring compliance with institutional and NCAA guidelines. She also oversees and coordinates tutoring sessions managing academic support services to enhance student-athlete performance.
Prior to joining Houston, Butler was a Summer Bridge Counselor at Prairie View A&M in 2022 faclitiating academic and social integration for first-year students.
A Houston native, Crissy Butler earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Dance from Prairie View A&M University in 2023. She loves discovering new adventures and is always chasing the next spark of inspiration.
