Adam Rouse joined University of Houston’s Houston Cougars Sports Properties in April 2025 as Manager of Business Development.
He joins the Cougars from Ball State where he was the Manager of Business Development from July 2023 to March 2025. At Ball State, Rouse was responsible for generating new revenue and renewing current accounts for the Cardinals while managing over 35 clients and increasing revenue generation by over 10%.
Prior to joining Learfield's multimedia rights side he worked for Learfield's Amplify business line, where he was an Account Executive at Virginia Tech. At Virginia Tech he was responsible for generating new ticket revenue. In the 2022 football season he achieved the most successful Education Day across all Learfield properties: with students, educators and parents attending from over 30+ counties in Virginia.
He earned his start in athletics with the Batlimore Orioles as a Fan Engagement Representative during the 2021 season.
Rouse is a native of Annapolis, Md. and received his Bachelor of Science in Sports Business Management at Maryville University in 2020.
