Heat Management Plan in Effect Saturday, Sept. 5

HOUSTON – The University of Houston will apply its Heat Management Plan on Saturday for Houston Football's H-Town Kickoff game against Oregon State, which will include the first 10,000 fans receiving a cooling towel.
Fans will be permitted to bring in one (1) factory sealed clear plastic, non-insulated bottle of water OR one (1) empty CLEAR plastic, non-insulated bottle of water per guest at Stadium entrances.
In addition, water monsters, massive water spigots, will be placed in the student tailgating area Saturday morning as well as inside TDECU Stadium. The water stations can be used to wet fans' cooling towels
Additionally, cooling fans with misters will be placed on the concourse.
Fans needing medical cooling can find sanctuary in the band building and the Indoor Practice Facility.
SEASON TICKETS
University of Houston Football season tickets are on sale for the 2026 season. For as low as $150, fans can get in on the excitement of Year 3 of the Head Coach Willie Fritz era with pivotal matchups against Oregon State, Southern, UCF, Oklahoma State, Cincinnati and Baylor as the Cougars look to improve on their 10-win season in 2025.
