Milos Uzan Signs with Boston Celtics

Award-winning point guard signs Exhibit-10 contract on Thursday
HOUSTON – University of Houston Men's Basketball point guard Milos Uzan has joined the Boston Celtics after signing an Exhibit-10 contract on Thursday morning.Uzan joined forward/center Chris Cenac Jr, who was taken by the Celtics with the #27 overall pick in the NBA Draft First Round on Tuesday.
Uzan became the fourth member of the Cougars' 2025-26 team to sign a professional contract. He joined Cenac, point guard Kingston Flemings (First Round • #8 overall • Atlanta Hawks) and guard Emanuel Sharp (#45 overall • Sacramento Kings • Second Round).
ABOUT MILOS UZAN
In 2025-26, Uzan received All-Big12 honors for the second straight season after being named to the league's Second Team a year ago.
Starting all 77 games during his Houston career, Uzan averaged 11.1 points per game and ranked among the Big 12 leaders with 4.0 assists per game and a 3.08 assist-turnover ratio in 2025-26. The Las Vegas native recorded 24 games with one or fewer turnovers.
With 148 assists, Uzan became the 22nd player to record multiple 100-assist seasons during his Houston career. He handed out a team-high 170 assists on the Cougars' run to the 2025 NCAA National Championship Game.
Uzan recorded 20 games with double-digit points, including a career-high 26 points in wins over Syracuse during the first day of the Players Era Championship (November 24, 2025) and against Big 12-rival Colorado inside Fertitta Center (February 28).
He graduated with his bachelor's degree in integrated studies in May.
EXHIBIT-10 CONTRACTS
Under an Exhibit-10 contract, players agree to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal for the league minimum salary. They can earn optional bonuses that can reach $75,000 if they are waived and spend at least 60 days with a team's G League affiliate.
An Exhibit-10 contract can be converted into a two-way contract, which results in bonus money being guaranteed. Any Exhibit-10 players who remain on an NBA team's 15-man roster after the start of the regular season have their contracts become a standard minimum deal.
