Mykenzie Leehy, Peyton Kondis, and Laura Laderoute shine in final home meet of the season
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Swimming & Diving team posted a pair of Olympic Trial cuts and a program record in its final home meet, Saturday at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
" We had a great last day of championship meet prep today," said Head Coach Ryan Wochomurka. " That was our focus, to be putting together race strategies and emulations of what we will see next week. It was very exciting to see two USA Olympic Trial qualifying times for Peyton and Kenzie, and a school record for Laura. Those types of performances now are exciting as we turn our attention to next week."
HOW IT HAPPENED
Houston will head to Indianapolis where it will defend its 2018 conference title on Feb. 27 – March 2 at the IUPUI Natatorium. Ticket for all sessions are on sale and can be purchased here.
