MESA, Ariz. â€" The University of Houston Women's Golf program provided highlights throughout the day to move into second place following the Second Round of the Clover Cup at Longbow Golf Club.
Four of the five Cougars in Head Coach Gerrod Chadwell's starting lineup finished under par, led by sophomore Leonie Harm, who tied her school record of 66 and equaled the mark posted by teammate Courtney Tibiletti in Friday's First Round.
With those performances, the Cougars fired the low team round of the day at 13-under 275 and moved into second with a 36-hole total of 562. Houston's total also set a team school record, topping the previous low of 280 during the Final Round of the Alamo Invitational on Oct. 28, 2014.
No. 5 Arizona State held the Second-Round lead at 556. No. 4 Florida State (563), No. 25 Oklahoma (567) and No. 30 TCU (579) rounded out the top-five team leaders.
To top everything off, junior Megan Thothong sank her second hole-in-one of the season midway through her back nine. Using the same 8-iron she used on her first career hole-in-one at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate on Feb. 19, the Dallas native drained it from 160 yards out on No. 16.
For the second time this season, Harm used a strong finish to post a school-record 66 for the second time this season. The Gerlingen, Germany, native sank three birdies on her front nine but battled through three bogeys to finish at even-par through her first nine holes.

Starting her back nine with consecutive pars, Harm closed out the day on a tear, sinking birdies on six of her last seven holes. Only a par on the par-4, 13th hole prevent a more remarkable streak.
Harm opened the Mountainview Collegiate with her first 66 on March 10 at MountainView Golf Club on the way to a second-place finish. That total was equaled by junior Courtney Tibiletti, who drained 10 birdies in Friday's First Round at the Clover Cup.
Harm was tied for sixth at 3-under-141 entering the Final Round.

Thothong and junior Allie Andersen each posted 69s Saturday for the Cougars. Like Harm, Thothong stood at even-par through nine holes but started her back nine with a bogey on No. 10.
Fortunately, the 2016 All-American Athletic Conference First-Team honoree rallied with a birdie on No. 12 before her heroics on No. 16. Two holes later she capped her round with a birdie on the par-4 18th hole and was tied for 12th at 142.
Andersen used a steady effort throughout the day to tie her career low. The Woodlands, Texas, native enjoyed a birdie on No. 3 but gave that stroke back with a bogey on the next hole.
Fortunately, she rallied with back-to-back birdies on Nos. 6-7 and opened the back nine with a birdie before making eight straight pars. Andersen was tied for 14th at 1-under 143.
Junior Ivon Reijers finished her Second Round with a pair of birdies and only one bogey and was tied for 22nd at 145. Tibiletti finished with a 73 Saturday and was tied for third to lead the Cougars at 5-under 139.
This is the Cougars second tournament in the state of Arizona in a week. Houston tied for third at the MountainView College in Tucson, Ariz., on March 12.
