THE WOODLANDS, Texas â€" The University of Houston Women's Golf program returns to action as a team when it tees off Sunday morning at the Jim West Challenge on the Fazio Course at the Club at Carlton Woods.
Sunday features 36 holes of continuous play with an 8:30 a.m., shotgun start. The Final Round tees off with a 9:30 a.m., shotgun start Monday.
Houston will compete against Florida State, Jacksonville, Kent State, Miami (Fla.), Missouri, North Texas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, UTSA and host Texas State.

THE LINEUP
Leonie Harm â€" 72.67 average with one round of par or better in 2016-17… Led the Cougars at the season-opening Mason Rudolph Championships… Lowered her scores by at least two strokes with each round and capped that tournament with a 2-under- 70 to tie for 15th… Was Houston's first NCAA Championships participant in school history after tying for seventh at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional a year ago... Native of Gerlingen, Germany, and product of Privatgymnasium St. Leon Rot.
Megan Thothong â€" 74.67 average… 2016 All-American Athletic Conference honoree… Tied for 37th with 224 at season-opening Mason Rudolph Championships on Sept. 16-18… Competed in U.S. Amateur Championship in August for the second straight season… Native of Dallas and product of Plano West Senior High School.
Ivon Reijers â€" 73.00 average with team-high-tying two rounds of par or better in 2016-17… Made her collegiate debut at season-opening Mason Rudolph Championships on Sept. 16-18… Opened and closed that tournament with even-par rounds of 72… Joined Cougars at semester break in January but sat out 2016 spring season as redshirt… Native of Barcelona and product of Maristes and Redlands Community College.
Allie Andersen â€" 76.67 average… Joined Cougars in 2016-17 after competing for first two years at Colorado State… Tied for 57th at season-opening Mason Rudolph Championships in Houston debut on Sept. 16-18… Native of The Woodlands, Texas, and product of The Woodlands High School.
Emily Gilbreth â€" Leads Cougars with 70.33 average and tied for team lead with two rounds of par or better in 2016-127… Lone senior and three-year letterman on 2016-17 team… One of the first four members of Houston Women's Golf after joining team in 2013-14… Competed as individual at Bearkat Invitational on Monday and Tuesday… Led the Cougars and finished third at that event with career-low score of 2-under 211… Tied a school record with a 68 in the Second Round… Native of Bellaire, Texas, and product of Bellaire High School.
LAST TIME OUT
Four Cougars competed as individuals at the Bearkat Invitational, hosted by Sam Houston State at Raven Nest Golf Club in Huntsville on Monday and Tuesday.
Gilbreth led the Cougars after posting a career-low, 54-hole score of 211 to finish third. She tied a school record with a 68 in the Second Round of that event, equaling the marks set by Raegan Bremer (3rd Round, Mason Rudolph Championships, Sept. 20, 2015) and current teammates Yuka Kajiki (3rd Round, Jim West Challenge, Oct. 6, 2015; 3rd round, American Championships, April 21, 2015) and Thothong (3rd Round, UNF Collegiate, March 10, 2015).
Junior Kelli Rollo tied for eighth with a career-low 219, while junior Courtney Tibiletti finished with a score of 222 to tie for 11th.

Following the Jim West Challenge, the Cougars continue their fall schedule when they tee off at The Alamo Invitational, hosted by UTSA at Briggs Ranch Golf Club on Oct. 23-25.
