Cougar Talk With Tom Penders Begins on Monday, December 21

HOUSTON, Texas - Cougar Talk with Tom Penders will present its first live broadcast of the 2004-05 season next Monday, December 20, at Irma's Southwest Grill. The one-hour show begins at 7:00 p.m. and features new Houston head basketball coach Tom Penders and is hosted by the "Voice of the Cougars", Tom Franklin.
Cougar Talk with Tom Penders will be part of the debut of Houston's newest 24-hour, all-sports radio station, and air live on "ESPN 790 The Sports Animal". The show also can be heard worldwide on the UHCougars.com website.
After the New Year's Holiday, Cougar Talk with Tom Penders will air again on January 7 and each following Monday throughout the 2004-05 basketball season.
Irma's Southwest Grill is located on the corner of Texas and Austin Avenues in Downtown Houston, just three blocks north of Minute Maid Park. Parking is free and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
