Cougars Play Second Exhibition Game Against Texas Blue Chips

Houston, Texas - The University of Houston men's basketball team will play their second exhibition of the 2002-03 season when the Cougars play host to the Texas Blue Chips on Monday, November 18, 2002, in Hofheinz Pavilion at 7:30 p.m.
The Cougars opened their exhibition season with an 85-70 victory over Team Nike on November 13 as senior forward Louis Truscott had game highs of 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead Houston. Sophomore guard Andre Owens added 19 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Cougars.
The Blue Chips are 0-1 after dropping a 98-93 loss at North Texas.
Houston will open its regular season schedule against Prairie View A&M on Saturday, November 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Hofheinz Pavilion. It marks the first time in three years that the Cougars will play a season-opener at home.
